Job Description:

The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging and challenging English instruction that fosters critical thinking, analytical abilities, and a love for literature. Responsibilities will include developing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, assessing student performance, and contributing to the overall academic development of students in a secondary school environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, or a related field (minimum requirement)
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary/high school level
• Preference for candidates with experience in teaching Advanced Placement (AP) courses
• Strong understanding of English curriculum standards and assessment methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a classroom environment that supports diverse learners
• Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching practices
