About This Role

Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is a growing K-12 school district dedicated to shaping responsible citizens and equipping students for higher education. This mission includes embedding fundamental ethical values such as courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty within the core academic framework.

A vibrant school environment is characterized by exceptional teaching from educators and active learning from students. Achieving this necessitates a safe space for all members of the SPAS community, highlighting citizenship and equitable rule enforcement throughout the Saint Paul Scholars network. We recognize the significant role of parental engagement in the educational experience, holding parents accountable for their children's success and behavior.

SPAS is looking for educators who view their role as more than just teaching. The ideal candidates are those who are enthusiastic about discovering additional methods to support struggling students, inspire high achievers, and comprehend the factors influencing student performance. Their commitment arises from a desire to ensure that students not only succeed but truly thrive. Educators should be eager to collaborate with peers and community partners to foster student achievement.

It is crucial to acknowledge that education goes beyond merely assigning, collecting, and grading work. If this perspective resonates with you, we encourage you to submit your application via the WhatSchool platform.
