Capital School Bahrain is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our growing secondary team, commencing in September 2026.
The successful candidate will be tasked with teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to participate in A-Level Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) as the school expands its post-16 curriculum. This role offers an excellent chance for an inspiring educator to become part of a supportive and innovative British curriculum school.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Providing engaging and high-quality Science instruction across KS3, KS4, and KS5
• Assisting in the planning and assessment activities within the Science department
• Supporting students’ learning and success in IGCSE and A-Level evaluations
• Encouraging positive behavior, student involvement, and maintaining high standards
• Collaborating effectively with colleagues in the department and the wider school community
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Qualified teacher status with a focus on Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
• Experience in teaching the English National Curriculum and KS4 Science
• Strong subject expertise combined with effective teaching methodologies
• A commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
• Experience or interest in A-Level Science (preferred)
