About This Role

About our School
Hanoi Toronto School stands out as a distinctive educational institution in Vietnam. Established in August 2022, it is the only school in the country that offers international and integrated programs for Primary and Secondary levels (Grades 1-12) aligned with the Ontario Curriculum from Canada.

The Ontario Curriculum is widely adopted in Canada, aiming to facilitate each student's potential through a structured learning program that is coherent, relevant, and suitable for their age. It emphasizes the importance of critical literacy, enabling students to synthesize information, make informed choices, communicate effectively, and excel in a rapidly evolving global landscape. The curriculum is designed to connect learners with the material, ensuring they can relate to what is taught and its relevance to the broader world. It acknowledges the diverse needs of learners and aims to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives necessary to become informed, responsible, and active participants in their communities and beyond.

In Ontario, curriculum frameworks, resources, and achievement standards have been established for both primary and secondary education. The curriculum undergoes periodic revisions in collaboration with curriculum developers, parents, educators, and other stakeholders. The Ontario Ministry of Education provides sample activities and assessment rubrics that align with the curriculum by grade and subject, helping educators incorporate relevant activities and assessments into their teaching practices.

At HTS, this curriculum, comparable to leading global educational frameworks, has been tailored to suit both our international and Vietnamese contexts.

International Schools Partnership (ISP)
HTS is part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), a prominent global educational network with over 70 schools across more than 18 countries. Being part of the ISP family offers students and staff numerous global learning opportunities. ISP is dedicated to the professional development of its educators through its Learning First initiative.

HTS maintains a collaborative relationship with its sister school, Lynn-Rose College, a distinguished private IB world school in Ontario, which is also a member of the International Schools Partnership. This partnership provides our students the chance to earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and the opportunity to study in Canada at Lynn-Rose through exchange or transfer programs.

At Hanoi Toronto School, our focus is on delivering exceptional educational outcomes through the latest teaching methodologies within state-of-the-art facilities. We are committed to providing students with "Amazing Learning," which signifies significant progress, performance, and achievement. Our learners are central to our mission; their success is our success.
