Position Overview:

We invite passionate Mathematics educators who are eager to inspire a love for learning and enhance the dynamic community at Dubai American Academy. Positions are available starting August 2026.

This role presents a wonderful opportunity for Mathematics teachers who are committed to fostering curiosity, encouraging achievement, and contributing to the success of every student at DAA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive Mathematics lessons, aligning with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
• Develop and implement creative teaching strategies that ignite a passion for Mathematics and enhance critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Ensure consistent delivery of curriculum content.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and curiosity.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.

Successful candidates will have:

• A Bachelor of Education degree or a relevant initial degree, along with a teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or a Level 5 equivalent specialization in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching High School Mathematics, preferably in an American/IB curriculum environment.
• A strong grasp of inquiry-based learning and experiential Mathematics education.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• The capability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A genuine commitment to ongoing professional growth and providing outstanding teaching and learning experiences for students.
