About This Role

Math Specialist / Instructional Coach (Schoolwide)

Summary

The Math Specialist / Instructional Coach is essential to advancing BFIS's Vision for Learning by improving the teaching and learning of mathematics across all grade levels, from Elementary to High School. This role focuses on enhancing teacher expertise, ensuring uniform instructional practices, and cultivating a profound understanding of mathematics that encourages students to learn with confidence, take initiative, and enjoy their educational journey.

As part of the Teaching and Learning Team, the Math Specialist / Instructional Coach works alongside educators, Curriculum Coordinators, and school leaders to align the mathematics curriculum—both in its development and execution—with the Common Core Mathematics Standards for Elementary and the IB MYP and DP frameworks for Secondary.
