Inclusion Teacher

Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba is seeking a dedicated and talented Inclusion Teacher to join our well-established Inclusion Team for the academic year 2026–2027 as we continue to grow.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced educator committed to inclusive education, with a desire to support students with diverse additional learning needs in achieving their highest potential. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure that every student can access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities.

As an Inclusion Teacher, your duties will encompass delivering targeted support to students through personalized interventions, collaborative teaching approaches, and customized learning strategies. You will provide assistance to pupils across the primary phase, focusing particularly on those with additional learning requirements, language development needs, and various learning challenges, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional success.

You will become part of a dynamic and supportive Inclusion Department, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes the Head of Inclusion, specialist educators, learning support assistants, and external professionals as needed. Together, the team is dedicated to ensuring high-quality provision for students and promoting inclusive practices throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

• Deliver exceptional targeted support to students with additional learning needs through individual and small-group interventions.

• Ensure students can access the curriculum by adapting learning strategies to facilitate meaningful engagement and progress.

• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to develop inclusive classroom strategies and effective differentiation.

• Assist in creating and implementing individualized learning plans and targeted interventions.

• Monitor and assess student progress, utilizing data to guide teaching and support methods.

• Foster the social, emotional, and behavioral development of students, helping them build confidence and independence.

• Partner with the Inclusion Team to ensure effective provision across the school.

• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external professionals regarding student progress and support strategies.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of inclusive practices and provisions within the school.

• Engage with the broader school community and actively participate in school events and initiatives.

Requirements and Experience

The successful applicant will have:

• A relevant Bachelor’s degree.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a similar position within a Primary or Secondary setting.

• Experience in supporting students with additional learning needs.

• A strong commitment to inclusive education and individualized learning.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills when interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.

• A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols.

• A commitment to the wellbeing and pastoral care of all students.

• The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

• An innovative, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.

• A willingness to engage actively in the broader life of the school community.

Desirable

• Experience in the UAE or within an international school environment.

• Additional qualifications such as CCET, AAC, or SEND-related certifications.

• Experience supporting students with speech and language needs, autism, dyslexia, or other learning differences.
