NACIS Shanghai, a member of Nord Anglia Education, is looking for a Secondary IB DP Biology Teacher to join our faculty starting in August 2026. This position involves teaching IBDP Biology for Grades 10 to 12, as well as Biology for Grade 8 and above.
THE SCHOOL

THE ROLE
As a Secondary IB DP Biology Teacher, you will report directly to the Head of Secondary Biology and play a pivotal role in ensuring that lesson planning, preparation, instruction, assessment, and reporting meet both student needs and school standards. You will participate actively in broader school development initiatives and demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge while adapting to various elements of the science curriculum. Collaborating with both national and international colleagues will be crucial as you help shape the Science curriculum and contribute to its ongoing development. You are expected to uphold high standards for our students by crafting learning experiences that align with our school’s Secondary curriculum, fostering a culture of achievement and respect, and promoting learning through inquiry and discussion.

Your dedication and creativity will inspire you to reflect on your teaching methods and student outcomes, consistently seeking and implementing innovative strategies to improve school performance. As a collaborative team member, you will communicate effectively with diverse audiences, building strong relationships with parents and students. Additionally, you must fulfill China's visa requirements, which include a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Science and a notarized bachelor's degree.
