Head of Islamic Education- September 2024
About This Role
We are seeking a Head of Islamic Education to join our team starting September 2024. This role will support the CEO, Principals, and Vice Principal for Islamic Education in defining a clear vision and direction for the subject, establishing high standards with a strong emphasis on student achievement and progress.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in defining the aims and objectives for Islamic Education and contribute to the formulation of the School Development Plan. Additionally, you will assist the CEO, Principals, and Vice Principal for Islamic Education in conducting self-reviews and evaluations, as well as in the effective planning and management of resources to drive improvements.
You will be expected to lead with the Academy’s Mission, Vision, and Values at the core of all decision-making processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies (or a comparable qualification)
• At least 5 years of experience, ideally in a leadership role with a background in teaching Islamic Education
• Teacher Qualifying Certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
