About This Role

As we embark on the next phase of delivering our ambitious five-year strategic plan, Nexus Multi Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional and experienced school leader to join our central team as an Executive Assurance Partner.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence improvement at scale across a diverse and values-driven Trust, helping to shape the future of education for children and young people with SEND. We are looking for a leader who combines a strong track record of school improvement with curiosity, creativity and a relentless commitment to continuous learning.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Quality Assurance and Improvement, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with Headteachers, Executive Leaders and Trust colleagues to provide high-quality support, challenge and assurance across our family of schools. Through evidence-informed practice, professional dialogue and robust evaluation, you will help ensure that our quality assurance and improvement framework delivers meaningful impact on leadership, governance, staff wellbeing, pupil experience and outcomes.

We are seeking an individual who not only understands what effective education looks like today, but who is also actively horizon-scanning to identify emerging research, innovation and best practice that will shape the provision of tomorrow. You will be confident in translating educational evidence into practical, sustainable improvement strategies and will play a key role in driving innovation across the Trust.

Applicants will have a proven track record of securing sustainable improvements in educational quality and outcomes. You will be a reflective system leader who is energised by collaboration, committed to professional growth and passionate about helping others succeed.

At Nexus, our vision is simple: "Learning together, to be the best we can be." We are therefore looking for a leader whose approach reflects our values of partnership, integrity and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will understand the power of servant leadership, embrace appreciative enquiry, and be motivated by developing people and systems rather than directing them.

This is not a term-time-only position, offering the flexibility of annual leave arrangements and agile working opportunities.

The post will be paid in accordance with the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document on Leadership Scale L18-L21 and includes membership of the Teachers' Pension Scheme (unless the appointee chooses to opt out).

Compensation

£30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS Scale)
