Creators, an innovative STEM-focused school set to launch in September 2025, is seeking an exceptional English teacher to join our Languages and Humanities department. This pivotal role is essential to our mission of fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and entrepreneurship among our students and staff.

About the Role:

At Creators International School, we believe that the exploration of English Literature and Language should be intellectually enriching and central to understanding the human experience. Our aim is to equip students with a thorough understanding of the world, its literature, cultures, challenges, and ethical perspectives for the future. Through the examination of significant literary and cultural texts, students will develop critical thinking skills, a global perspective, and a deep understanding of the complexities of human society.

We are looking for a visionary Literature and Language educator who is passionate about creating innovative learning experiences through research, inquiry, and technology integration. You will inspire and support our students on their literacy journey, fostering a love for learning while cultivating an engaging and dynamic classroom environment. Additionally, you will promote creativity and entrepreneurial thinking, empowering our students to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Moreover, you will play a key role in supporting students for whom English is a second language. By designing and overseeing an English Language support program, you will ensure that these students receive the essential resources they need to thrive academically and fully integrate into the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate as part of a team of innovative and reflective educators.
  • Teach English Literature and Language classes across primary, middle years, and IGCSE levels utilizing your own engaging teaching methods.
  • Develop and implement an English Language support program to assist students for whom English is a second language, ensuring they receive the necessary support to succeed in their studies.
  • Inspire a passion for learning while deepening knowledge and understanding in English Literature and Language.
  • Design and execute an innovative approach to education in these subjects.
  • Create an environment that encourages inquiry and creativity.
  • Motivate students to excel in IGCSE examinations, international competitions, and cultural exchanges.
  • Ensure mastery of subject matter and excellence in curriculum development.
  • Develop strategies to support gifted students in achieving exceptional performance in both academic and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
  • Ideally, candidates should possess an EU passport or have the right to work in Spain.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English.
  • Valid Teaching Qualification - PGCE/BEd or equivalent recognized in the EU.
  • Substantial experience in international schools, with a focus on teaching British Curriculum English Literature and Language, including a successful track record in competitive international examinations.
  • Strong expertise in promoting inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, project-based, and research skills, applying them in real-world contexts.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using technology and digital tools to enhance the learning and teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with current international standards and best practices in English Literature and Language instruction.
