Job Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Manitoba Teacher's Certificate or eligibility to secure certification in the Province of Manitoba.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching in a middle years setting.
• Knowledge of the K-8 Manitoba Curriculum along with skills in cross-curricular planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a supportive and consultative manner.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to functioning effectively as part of an educational team.
• Outstanding classroom management skills.
• Capability to design a program that integrates a northern perspective.
• Understanding and sensitivity to the traditions and aspirations of students from various abilities and backgrounds.
• Commitment to culturally responsive educational practices.
