Elementary Teacher (Early Years Grade K- 3)

The ideal applicant should have the following qualifications:

• A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate or the potential to secure teacher certification in Manitoba.
• A track record of successful teaching in an early years setting.
• Knowledge of the K-8 Manitoba curriculum along with experience in cross-curricular planning.
• A team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with other educators in a consultative manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A willingness to work cooperatively as a member of an educational team.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• An understanding and sensitivity towards the traditions and aspirations of students from various backgrounds and abilities.
• A commitment to culturally responsive education.
• The capability to create a program that includes a northern perspective.
