About This Role
Southpointe Academy is seeking a Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management to join our team in Vancouver, BC. This pivotal leadership role requires a person who is approachable, trustworthy, and innovative, capable of representing a prestigious independent IB World School while assisting families in making one of their most important decisions. As the architect of the K–12 admissions, recruitment, and enrollment strategy, you will play a key role in shaping how families discover, engage with, and eventually join the Southpointe community. Reporting directly to the Head of School and serving as an essential member of the Leadership Team, your efforts will influence the school’s growth, reputation, and future direction, ensuring that each prospective family resonates with Southpointe’s mission and values from their very first interaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Create a mission-driven enrollment strategy based on data, market insights, and IB principles.
- Manage the complete admissions process from initial inquiry through onboarding, making sure every family feels appreciated and supported.
- Organize high-quality admissions events, including tours, interviews, assessments, and communications.
- Lead a small, efficient team that provides seamless operations and exceptional service.
- Build relationships with families, feeder schools, relocation partners, and international communities.
- Execute retention strategies, which include check-ins for new families, engagement programs, and annual re-enrollment efforts.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging by collaborating with academic, marketing, and leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of admissions experience in a preparatory or independent school environment.
- Experience in an IB World School, with an understanding of multicultural communities.
- Familiarity with marketing, communications, and admissions databases.
