About This Role
We are seeking an outstanding practitioner who is eager to develop their leadership skills and play a key role in leading and shaping a team of skilled teachers and support staff within KS2. This role is ideal for someone with the vision, drive and expertise to influence teaching and learning and make a sustained impact on pupil outcomes.
1. Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Knowledge and Understanding
- Experience of teaching within Key Stage 2
- Evidence of strong teaching practice leading to positive pupil outcomes
- Secure understanding of effective teaching and learning in primary education
- Strong knowledge of assessment and pupil progress
- Clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in schools
- Experience of supporting or contributing to staff CPD
- Experience of implementing teaching and learning strategies to support inclusion for all pupils
- Secure knowledge of curriculum requirements and statutory guidance for Key Stage 2
- Experience of leading or contributing to a subject area
