Position Details

• Title: Classroom Teacher

• Level: Primary School

• Curriculum: IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), integrating objectives from the English National Curriculum throughout the institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

• Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and well-organized classroom atmosphere.

• Use assessments effectively to foster progress and improve attainment in core subjects.

• Encourage students’ academic, social, and emotional development in line with IB PYP principles.

• Collaborate with colleagues to continually enhance teaching and learning.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the elementary/primary level.

• Strong classroom management skills.

• Proven ability to improve student progress.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

• Experience with the IB Primary Years Programme.

• Understanding of the English National Curriculum.
