This role is particularly well-suited for teachers at the beginning of their careers.

● Participate in a lively professional development community
● Assume leadership roles in co-curricular activities

Responsibilities:

● Work alongside classroom teachers in curriculum planning, differentiated instruction, and assessment
● Deliver personalized instruction and learning support for individual students
● Supervise students during non-classroom time
● Lead STEAM-based co-curricular clubs across the primary and middle school divisions
● Engage in field trips, outdoor education, service projects, leadership initiatives, and athletics

Requirements/Qualifications:
● B.C. Ministry of Education Certificate or Independent School Certification
● Strong knowledge of educational technology practices and platforms (e.g., Makey Makey, Book Creator, green screens, Padlet, Puppet Pals, etc.) with an emphasis on developing digital skills for students in grades 1-7
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Strong organizational and time-management abilities
● Commitment to holistic child education
● Collaborative, flexible, and enthusiastic
