Key Responsibilities for the Advanced Skills Teacher include:

• Establishing and reviewing performance management objectives

• Assisting colleagues in monitoring planning across each Key Stage/Department

• Collaborating on the evaluation and improvement of existing work schemes

• Supporting the oversight of punctuality and attendance standards

• Aiding in assessment and analysis to address underperformance

• Acting as a liaison with schools to implement strategies that promote inclusion

• Conducting workshops for students focusing on critical borderline assessments

• Providing targeted assistance for both struggling and high-achieving students

• Designing and leading professional development initiatives

• Participating in the planning and execution of dedicated in-service training days

• Identifying necessary CPD activities to enhance school processes for improving teaching and learning

• Creating an engaging learning environment that enhances the school's visual appeal

• Delivering exemplary lessons for NQTs

• Mentoring new teachers

• Conducting workshops for students on essential borderline assessments

• Offering tailored support for underperforming or gifted students

• Supporting or leading strategies for aiding specific student groups (e.g., boys, girls, Emiratis, G&T).

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
