About This Role

Administration Support (Inclusion- SEND)

24 hours per week, term time only.

Grade 6, SCP 6.

The Derby High School, located in Bury, Greater Manchester, is looking to recruit an Administration Assistant focused on Inclusion and SEND. We seek an individual with the appropriate qualifications, skills, and experience, who is dedicated to enhancing student outcomes. This new and exciting position under the guidance of the SENDCO offers the chance to significantly impact the success of students at The Derby High School.

- Background in supporting SEND processes or previous work in an administrative capacity within an educational, health, or pastoral environment.
- Experience in collaborating with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure integrated support for young people.
- Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing documentation, statutory deadlines, and various administrative tasks with precision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Confidence in working autonomously, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving and maintaining efficient processes.
- Ability to foster positive, professional relationships with colleagues, families, and external agencies.
- Flexibility and adaptability in response to the dynamic nature of a busy SEND environment.
