Curriculum Overview

Doha British School adheres to the National Curriculum of England, tailored to reflect the culture, heritage, and values of Qatar. Ideal candidates must possess:

A recognized educational degree, such as a Bachelor’s in Education or an equivalent qualification.

A valid teaching qualification like a PGCE or QTS, along with an Early Career Teaching Certificate (the PGCE should be accompanied by a subject-specific bachelor’s degree).

Outstanding subject expertise, with substantial experience in teaching the National Curriculum of England.

Experience in teaching International Baccalaureate (IB) and IGCSE, AS/A Level.

A demonstrable history of delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences.

This position is set to begin in September 2026; however, staff should plan to arrive in the country by mid-August for orientation and induction.
