Head of Commerce (Business/Economics)
Our innovative and forward-thinking British Curriculum School in Dubai is in search of an ‘Outstanding’ Head of Commerce, who will oversee GCSE and A Level courses. Our school offers a truly international setting for our students, infused with a distinctly British flavor.
We are looking for a leader who:

Holds an undergraduate degree or major in Economics/Business
•
Possesses a PGCE in Business/Economics
•
Has experience leading in a British or British Curriculum School
•
Has taught AQA, Edexcel, or equivalent British exam boards
•
Demonstrates evidence of ‘Outstanding’ teaching or the potential to achieve this
•
Can show proof of departmental improvement
•
Is skilled at planning engaging, student-centered lessons
•
Is an expert in their subject with a passion for inspiring a love of learning in students
•
Utilizes classroom technology effectively to enhance the learning experience
•
Is a collaborative team player, eager to contribute significantly to the department
•
Is willing to engage in the extra-curricular life of the school
