About This Role

BFIS Director of Admissions

The Director of Admissions is responsible for guiding the enrollment process at BFIS, managing everything from initial inquiries to enrollment and re-enrollment. This position plays a crucial role in attracting and enrolling students and families who align with the school’s mission and values while ensuring sustainable and healthy enrollment levels. As a vital leadership role, it combines strategic insight, sound judgment, and the ability to foster strong relationships with the discipline of effective systems and accurate data management. The Director is accountable for enrollment results, the quality of the admissions experience, and the integrity of the admissions processes, systems, and reporting. Collaborating closely with the Director of Communications and Marketing, the Communications Team, and the Development Manager, the Director ensures cohesive messaging about the school and a consistent experience for families, fostering long-term connections. The role contributes to discussions with senior leadership and provides clear, consistent reporting to assist in planning and Board oversight. The Director will ensure that prospective families are well-informed about and engaged with the school’s educational approach, including the Reggio Emilia-inspired practices in the early years and the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programs.
