Job Description
We are on the lookout for a committed and knowledgeable Arabic A Teacher to join our faculty in August 2026.
The ideal candidate will instruct Arabic as a first language to native speakers, providing high-caliber instruction that enhances advanced skills in reading, writing, grammar, literature, speaking, and critical analysis of Arabic texts. This role will involve guiding students toward academic success while cultivating a profound appreciation for the Arabic language, culture, and heritage within a diverse British curriculum context.
Key Responsibilities
1. Instruction and Teaching
Deliver Arabic as a first language (Arabic A) in line with the school’s curriculum and the UAE Ministry of Education standards.
Conduct engaging lessons that enhance students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and Arabic literature.
Promote critical thinking, language fluency, and a love for Arabic literary works.
Establish a classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and maintains high academic standards.
2. Curriculum Planning
Design lesson plans that align with the school’s educational goals and UAE standards.
Create schemes of work, unit plans, and teaching materials that facilitate student academic growth.
Ensure resources are suitable for native Arabic speakers.
3. Assessment and Reporting
Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to gauge student progress.
Keep precise records of student performance.
Generate reports for parents, school leadership, and relevant educational authorities.
4. Student Support
Tailor instruction to accommodate all learners, including advanced students and those who need extra academic assistance.
Offer ongoing feedback to help students enhance their Arabic language and literacy skills.
5. Parental Engagement
Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and successes.
Engage in parent-teacher conferences and school events.
6. Professional Development
Stay current on effective practices in Arabic language instruction and literacy development.
Actively participate in school professional development opportunities.
