About This Role

The Strothoff International School is a bilingual institution that offers an international education. Our educational framework adheres to both the Hessian education plan and the globally recognized IB curriculum. Located on a modern, family-friendly campus in Dreieich, near Frankfurt, we provide around 400 children and adolescents with opportunities for German-English language acquisition starting from nursery age, utilizing an immersion approach. Our diverse and international campus community is supported by a dedicated pedagogical team across nursery, primary, and secondary levels, guiding students to become independent, open-minded, and globally aware individuals.

Part of the Phorms Education SE network, the Strothoff International School has been enhancing the educational landscape in Germany since 2006.

Beginning in August 2026, we are seeking an

Art Teacher (all genders)

(part-time or full-time)

for our secondary school in Dreieich (near Frankfurt).

Your Responsibilities


Preparation, follow-up, and the organizational and pedagogical planning of lessons in line with our benchmarked curriculum.


Creating imaginative and diverse lessons that stimulate student interest and engagement while enhancing their key skills and subject knowledge.


Incorporating digital media to enrich the teaching experience.


Organizing, executing, and overseeing a variety of class projects.


Contributing to the development of new ideas and the enhancement of processes.

Your Profile


A qualified secondary teacher with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area along with a teaching certification.


Previous teaching experience.


Proficient in English and holding a B2 level in German, or a commitment to achieve B2 proficiency within two years.


A strong alignment with our pedagogical approach and a commitment to staying informed about the latest innovations in educational theory to implement in teaching.


Willingness to embrace new technologies to enhance learning and adopt innovative teaching methodologies.
