About This Role
• Formulates the yearly curriculum for the designated grade level.
• Designs lesson plans in alignment with curriculum standards and submits them for approval to the academic coordinators.
• Considers feedback from academic coordinators and makes necessary adjustments to lesson plans.
• Stays informed about the latest educational tools, including the integration of technology in classroom instruction, and incorporates these into teaching practices.
• Establishes stimulating and engaging learning experiences for students, while nurturing a classroom environment that promotes effective learning.
• Produces worksheets, handouts, and various educational resources that correspond with the lesson plans, curriculum, assessments, and examinations.
• Takes responsibility for promptly grading and providing feedback on assignments submitted by students.
• Evaluates, documents, and communicates the progress, development, and outcomes of students.
• Identifies students in need of additional support, whether academic or non-academic, and ensures they receive appropriate assistance.
• Participates in extracurricular initiatives and engages in school events such as assemblies, meetings, and conferences.
• Guarantees the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Collaborates with colleagues to exchange innovative ideas, teaching strategies, content, and professional insights.
• Engages in communication with parents during Parent Teacher Meetings and as needed, providing feedback regarding student progress.
