About This Role
• Develops the annual curriculum for the assigned grade level.
• Formulates lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and submits them for approval to the academic coordinators.
• Evaluates feedback from academic coordinators and makes necessary adjustments to the lesson plans.
• Stays current with the latest educational tools, particularly technology for classroom instruction, and incorporates these into the teaching approach.
• Designs stimulating and interactive learning experiences for students, while cultivating a classroom environment that promotes learning.
• Creates worksheets, handouts, and various instructional materials that align with the lesson plans, curriculum, assessments, and examinations.
• Responsible for the prompt grading and feedback of student assignments.
• Evaluates, tracks, and communicates students' development, progress, and outcomes.
• Recognizes students who may need extra support, whether academic or otherwise, and ensures they receive appropriate assistance.
• Takes part in extracurricular activities and engages in school events like assemblies, meetings, and conferences.
• Maintains student safety at all times.
• Works collaboratively with fellow educators to exchange innovative ideas, teaching strategies, content, and professional insights.
• Communicates with parents and provides feedback during Parent Teacher Meetings and as needed.
