About This Role

Runnymede College, a private non-denominational British institution located in Madrid, provides a British education to children aged two to eighteen, welcoming students from various nationalities. The curriculum adheres to the British National Curriculum.

Established as a private school in September 1967, the primary division was opened in 1987, and since 1990, the entire school has resided in La Moraleja, in the northern part of Madrid. The institution is structured into three segments: Pre-Prep (Pre Nursery to Year 3), Prep (Years 4 to 8), and Senior School (Years 9 to 13).

Runnymede College boasts high academic standards. In June 2025, 57% of our students attained A-A* at A level, surpassing the 48% of A*-A grades achieved by independent schools in England this year. Additionally, 67% of our pupils received A*-A grades at IGCSE, a remarkable accomplishment compared to the 48% of A*-A grades at GCSE in the English private school sector.

Among the graduating class of 2025, 83% of students planning to attend universities in the UK will enroll in Top 10 institutions, as ranked by the Sunday Times Good University Guide. Esteemed universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, and LSE will welcome this year's graduates. In the United States, students have begun their higher education journeys at prestigious colleges including Harvard, Columbia, UPenn, and Brown, among others.

Several of our students will remain in Spain, enrolling in top-tier institutions such as ICADE, IE, and ICAI, while others will pursue further education at leading universities across Europe in countries like France and Ireland.

We invite you to be part of a fulfilling and vibrant educational atmosphere, both inside and outside the classroom. Candidates should be prepared to engage actively in the school’s co-curricular activities.
