UAE National - Teaching Assistants

We are seeking a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to become a part of our team with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will aid in the academic development of students by supervising study sessions, offering support, and facilitating learning activities. This position is vital in guiding students toward their educational objectives while fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Assist the teacher with activities related to reading. Conduct small group sessions within or outside the classroom as directed by the teacher. Prepare and organize classroom activities. Create and arrange displays of student work, and assist in preparing visual aids. Photocopy materials and help with the creation of worksheets as requested. Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by direct or indirect supervisors. Be prepared to cover classes briefly in emergency situations. Gain an understanding of relevant curriculum areas such as literacy, numeracy, and phonetics. Adhere to the GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct consistently. Participate in staff meetings and take part in committees as necessary. Maintain tact, confidentiality, and discretion at all times. Safeguard confidential information, ensuring that details regarding students and the school are not disclosed without the teacher's or senior management's consent.
