About This Role

Tes is assisting in the recruitment of a Teacher of Spanish for a school located in London.

The role
The High School seeks a qualified and motivated Teacher of Spanish to become a part of its vibrant and successful Modern Languages Department.

In this position, you will be tasked with planning, preparing, and delivering captivating and enriching Spanish lessons to a group of highly motivated and talented students throughout the school. Your teaching approach will incorporate a variety of effective strategies and resources aimed at enhancing students' comprehension of the Spanish language and its cultural context.

The Modern Languages Department provides a wealth of enriching experiences beyond the classroom, including international visits and exchanges. Recent opportunities have featured a homestay trip to Benalmadena for students in Years 9 and 10, along with collaborative online learning initiatives with partner schools in Colombia and Ecuador. As an integral member of the department, you will also engage in pastoral and administrative duties and actively participate in the school's extracurricular activities.

The school welcomes applications from seasoned educators with a proven track record, as well as well-qualified Early Career Teachers and graduates who exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for the Spanish language and culture.

Candidates can apply for either part-time (minimum 3 days) or full-time positions. Please indicate your preference for part-time or full-time employment in your application.
