The role:
As a Teacher of PE, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Leading initiatives to boost student participation and school spirit.
- Supporting enrichment activities and school events.
- Improving parental engagement through effective communication and updates on student progress.
- Delivering lessons that are engaging, inclusive, and impactful.
- Fostering creativity, problem-solving abilities, and design thinking.
- Utilizing data-driven strategies to address a range of learning needs.
- Integrating digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Acting as a Form Tutor and contributing to the IB curriculum.
- Developing and implementing lesson plans in line with curriculum standards.
- Ensuring comprehensive assessments and timely feedback.
- Contributing to curriculum innovation and quality assurance.
- Participating in continuous professional development.
- Reflecting on your teaching practices to enhance effectiveness.
- Promoting school values and fostering a positive school environment.
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- An accredited teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience in delivering the UK National Curriculum, either in the UK or internationally.
- A current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries of residence.
- Compliance with employment visa regulations, including a minimum bachelor’s degree, at least two years of teaching experience, and a clean criminal record for the past decade.
- A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, along with a readiness to undergo relevant child protection training as required.
