Teacher of Mathematics - August 2026

GEMS Al Barsha National School is seeking a passionate and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated team starting in August 2026. In the role of Mathematics Teacher at GEMS Al Barsha National School, you will design and implement engaging and challenging lessons that foster a deep appreciation for mathematics. You will support students in developing their problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills, ensuring that each individual reaches their full academic potential. Furthermore, you will actively participate in the wider school community, engaging in co-curricular activities, school events, and the continual enhancement of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, plan, and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that engage and motivate students with diverse abilities.
• Cultivate enthusiasm for mathematics through innovative and impactful learning experiences.
• Assess, track, and communicate student progress, using data to inform instructional planning and differentiation.
• Promote an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports all learners and encourages academic excellence.
• Collaborate with peers to develop creative lesson plans and share best practices.
• Maintain effective communication with parents to provide regular insights into student progress and achievements.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and co-curricular activities.

• Contribute to the school community through events, performances, and enrichment programs.

Qualifications & Knowledge

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline, paired with a recognized teaching qualification/license (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of the subject matter.
• Proficiency in ICT and digital tools to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
