About This Role
Aldar Education is in search of an exceptional Teacher of Mathematics (Secondary School) to join Muna British Academy in Abu Dhabi, starting in the 2026–2027 academic year.

Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning:
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the curriculum to effectively implement it and achieve learning outcomes.
• Utilize suitable syllabi, materials, and schemes of work to cultivate students’ mathematical skills.
• Organize classroom resources and create displays that foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse abilities within the class.
• Develop long-term, medium-term, and short-term lesson plans that address the individual learning requirements of students.
• Establish a learning environment conducive to delivering exceptional teaching.
• Inspire students through enjoyable and creative lessons that challenge them and encourage critical thinking.
• Set clear teaching and learning objectives and ensure student success in meeting them.
• Reflect on classroom provisions and teaching sessions, making adjustments to the environment, planning, and curriculum as necessary.
• Support SEN (POD), EAL, and G&T students, ensuring their needs are met through tailored differentiation.
• Facilitate Hybrid / Distance Learning / Face-to-Face lessons.
Behaviour Management and Duties:
• Adhere to the school’s established policies and procedures, including those related to behaviour, conduct codes, and child safeguarding.
• Manage classes effectively, employing strategies suited to students’ needs to inspire, motivate, and challenge them.
• Foster positive relationships with students, exercising appropriate authority and making decisive actions when needed in accordance with school policies.
• Serve as a positive role model, consistently demonstrating the attitudes, values, and behaviours expected from students.
• Maintain high expectations for conduct, encouraging self-control and independence among all learners.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.
• Perform duties as assigned in alignment with the school’s policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject along with a PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Minimum Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
