About This Role
Arcadia Global School in Dubai is looking to hire a committed and skilled Secondary Science Teacher (specializing in Chemistry) to join our team starting in August 2025. The ideal candidate will collaborate with fellow experienced educators to advance the school’s strategic vision and will be qualified to teach across all secondary Key Stages.

Requirements:
- Fully qualified teacher with a BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a high-quality department.
- Proven ability to teach up to GCSE/IGCSE with a strong record of performance outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Confidence in delivering and enhancing the curriculum.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Exceptional practitioners capable of delivering innovative lessons based on current pedagogical theories and forward-thinking initiatives.
- A professional who can collaborate effectively within the team and across the broader school community.
Core Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging lessons using diverse methods to stimulate student learning, fulfilling curriculum requirements and ensuring all students' needs are met through scaffolding and objectives.
- Uphold discipline in line with school policies and promote good practices related to punctuality, behavior, and work standards.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the subject’s strategic action plan.
- Ensure effective communication with parents regarding academic progress, adhering to school reporting procedures and addressing specific concerns as they arise.
- Follow the current policies and procedures of the school.
- Prepare and regularly update subject materials, including schemes of work.
