Position: Secondary School Biology/Chemistry Teacher
We are seeking a qualified Secondary School Science Teacher to join our faculty at St Michael's School, specializing in the instruction of Biology and Chemistry. The ideal candidate will possess experience in teaching high school-level Biology and Chemistry and will have a solid grasp of Common Core curriculum standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching science at the high school level
- Extensive understanding of Common Core curriculum standards
- Capability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to the varied needs of students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competency in utilizing technology within classroom instruction
- Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators
- Exceptional organizational skills
- A background history screening will be part of the hiring process
