About This Role

Arcadia Global School in Dubai is looking to hire a committed and experienced Secondary Geography Teacher to start in August 2025. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a team of seasoned professionals to support the school’s strategic vision and will have the capability to teach across all secondary Key Stages up to A Level.

Requirements:
- Fully qualified teacher with a BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a high-quality department.
- Demonstrated ability to teach up to GCSE/IGCSE with a successful track record in performance outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in delivering and enriching the curriculum.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Exceptional teaching skills with the ability to create innovative lessons grounded in current pedagogical practices and forward-thinking initiatives.
- A collaborative professional who works well within the immediate team and across the broader school community.

Core Responsibilities

- Teach using diverse methods that stimulate learning, aligning with curriculum requirements and ensuring all students' needs are met through scaffolding and clear objectives.
- Maintain discipline in line with school policies while fostering good practices related to punctuality, behavior, and work standards.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the subject's strategic action plan.
- Ensure effective communication and monitoring of students' academic progress with parents, adhering to school reporting procedures and addressing specific concerns as needed.
- Adhere to the school’s current policies and procedures.
- Prepare and update subject materials, including schemes of work.
