Secondary Biology and Science Teacher
About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Secondary Biology and Science Teacher to become part of our Science department as we embark on an exciting new chapter in the school’s evolution, starting in February 2025. The ideal candidate will possess confidence and the capability to instruct across all secondary levels, including IGCSE and IBDP.
Cambridge College currently prepares learners for IGCSE and the IB Diploma programme, making this an exceptional opportunity for those with experience in (I)GCSE and/or IB education.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member with the experience necessary to teach throughout both the Middle and Senior School.
Required qualifications include:
• A relevant degree along with a UK PGCE or another recognized teaching qualification.
• At least four years of teaching experience.
• A positive and enthusiastic presence within the staff community.
• Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and (I)GCSE and/or IB syllabuses is preferred.
• A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to the holistic education of students.
• A demonstrated record of effective classroom and pedagogical practices.
• The ability to engage in our extracurricular activities program.
• Flexibility to collaborate across different curriculum subjects and key stages.
• A team-oriented approach to developing new initiatives that enhance the Science curriculum.

To qualify for a visa or work permit, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Four years of teaching experience
- A teaching degree or qualification
- PGCE or PGDE, UK Qualified Teacher Status, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proficiency in English
