Bloom World Academy, situated in the heart of Dubai within a cutting-edge campus, is looking to hire a science teacher to begin in August 2025.

Our Story

Established in August 2022, Bloom World Academy caters to students aged three to 18 years. The school has made significant strides in redefining educational norms in Dubai, benefitting learners, families, and educators alike.

At Bloom World Academy, we meticulously consider every facet of teaching and learning—our methodologies, motivations, and the effects they yield. This thoughtful approach has led to numerous pioneering initiatives in the UAE. BWA is the first school in the region to start at 9 am, allow students and their families to customize their own timetables (learning pathways), and implement a Learning Achievement Passport (LAP) for each student, sharing performance and progress with families multiple times a year.

Above all, BWA prioritizes family involvement—encouraging parents to participate in school activities, work from our community café, attend workshops, and join our weekly community forums.

Our innovative approach has exceeded expectations, prompting a need to recruit several creative and dedicated educators who are eager to contribute their expertise in a progressive and imaginative environment that values the art of teaching.

Science Teacher - The Position

Bloom World Academy is in search of imaginative and skilled professionals for the MYP/DP science teacher role.

As an IB educator, you must demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering international mindedness within your classroom and support this ethos throughout the school. A solid understanding of, or experience with, a student-centered inquiry-based learning approach is essential. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish and maintain close professional relationships, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

We seek seasoned teachers who are passionate about helping every child thrive and who can cultivate a classroom atmosphere conducive to success for all students. You should be adept at teaching learners of varying abilities and have a proven history of achieving outstanding student outcomes.

While experience with the IB programme is highly desirable, it is not mandatory, as training will be provided. As an educator, you should possess knowledge and experience in designing engaging, challenging learning experiences, have a solid grasp of assessment practices, and, most importantly, be driven to motivate students to reach their potential and beyond.

Required Candidate Profile

- Proficient/advanced-level English language skills
- A minimum of 2 years of diverse and demonstrable science teaching experience
- Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
- Experience in IB MYP/DP/CP or GCSE/A Levels
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a reputable school/institution
- A record of outstanding student achievements
- Prior experience with the International Baccalaureate is preferred (training will be provided)
- Professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
- Intercultural awareness, strong communication skills, and eagerness to engage with students and parents
