Position Overview:

We welcome passionate Science NGSS educators committed to nurturing a love for learning and enhancing the dynamic community at Dubai American Academy, with positions available starting August 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Science NGSS educators who are dedicated to stimulating curiosity, inspiring success, and making a significant impact on each DAA student's academic journey.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive Biology lessons that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
• Design and implement innovative teaching strategies that foster a passion for Biology and encourage critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive educational environment.
• Ensure consistency in curriculum implementation.
• Modify instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Promote an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

• A Bachelor of Education degree or a relevant initial degree, along with a recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or Level 5 equivalent specialization in Biology.
• Proven experience teaching High School Biology, preferably within an American/IB curriculum context.
• Strong grasp of inquiry-based learning and experiential Biology pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to establish strong relationships with students, parents, and fellow educators.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and excellence in teaching and learning.
