About This Role

School Receptionist/Secretary

27.5 hours per week, 12:30 – 18:00, Monday to Friday

Term time only (plus 4 weeks)

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional School Receptionist/Secretary to become part of our dynamic Preparatory School office. This pivotal front-of-house position entails delivering exceptional reception services and high-quality administrative support to facilitate the smooth operation of the school. We seek an individual who is positive, motivated, and has a genuine passion for working with young children.

As the initial point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and staff, you will embody the school's warmth, professionalism, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include managing the main reception desk, addressing inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and assisting with a variety of administrative tasks throughout the school.

Collaborating closely with the Headmaster’s PA and the broader staff team, you will assist with daily operations such as recording attendance, office administration, organizing trips, procurement, and managing school events. You will also support admissions activities, conduct tours, and help maintain a welcoming and well-presented reception area.

Compensation
