About This Role

A finance role where you’ll really get to know the schools you support

At Fioretti Trust, we believe every child and every adult should flourish, everyday. Across our eight Church of England primary schools in Birmingham, our values of Aspiration, Wisdom and Compassion shape how we lead, how we support our schools, and how we treat each other.

We’re looking for a School Finance Partner who gets to know their schools, builds real relationships with Headteachers, and takes genuine pride in helping a school make the most of every pound it has - because they know exactly what that means for the children in it.

About the role

Reporting to our Head of Finance, you’ll be the trusted financial partner for a group of our schools - preparing management accounts, supporting budgets and forecasts, and working closely with Headteachers to help them understand their numbers and make good decisions with them.

You’ll play a key role in Integrated Curriculum Financial Planning (ICFP), helping schools think about staffing and resources in a way that’s both financially sound and educationally sensible. You’ll get involved in everything from SEND funding and school trips to audits, procurement and training school staff on finance basics.

Who we’re looking for

We need someone who’s skilled with numbers, is working towards, or already holding, a recognised accounting qualification, ideally with experience in an educational setting. We need someone who builds trust easily.

You’ll be organised and comfortable juggling several schools’ deadline in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. You’ll care about primary education, what it actually takes to run a good school.

If you want a finance career that keeps you close to real schools and real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
