We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Homeroom Teacher to join our team for a maternity leave replacement from mid-April until the conclusion of June 2026. This position offers a wonderful opportunity to support young learners in their educational development, encouraging their social, emotional, and personal growth in a caring environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach and manage a primary classroom in alignment with IB PYP and curriculum guidelines.
- Create and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across key subject areas.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom setting that supports the holistic development of students.
- Utilize inquiry-based learning strategies to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
- Regularly assess and track student progress, adapting instructional methods to meet diverse needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and contribute to initiatives across the school.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, aiding in their social and personal growth.
- Keep accurate records of student progress and offer constructive feedback to students and their families.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A degree in Education or a related discipline, along with a recognized teaching qualification.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB educational setting.
- Knowledge of inquiry-based and student-centered teaching methods.
- Proven ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, multicultural setting.
- A commitment to contributing to the wider school community.
