The role:
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of PE to become a part of our team, with key responsibilities that include:
1) Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the curriculum while adapting to teach various aspects and age groups within the PE department.
2) Tailoring all planning, preparation, instruction, assessment, and reporting to address student needs and align with the school’s expectations.
3) Establishing high standards for our students by creating learning experiences that align with our Secondary curriculum and promoting a culture of unlimited achievement.
4) Fostering a respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages inquiry and dialogue in the learning process.
5) Contributing to the overall development and progress of the school community.
The ideal candidate will possess:
1) Qualified Teacher Status and a minimum of three years’ experience teaching Secondary PE.
2) A strong grasp of effective teaching and learning methodologies, with the capacity to meet the varied needs of students through strategic organization, differentiation, and teaching techniques.
3) Preferred experience in instructing Girls Physical Education.
4) A collaborative mindset and adaptability as a team player.

You are enthusiastic about teamwork and sharing your knowledge, acting as a positive ambassador for the school. Your communication abilities will allow you to connect effectively with a diverse range of audiences, building strong relationships with both students and parents. You will be prepared to adapt quickly to our vibrant international setting and fulfill the visa requirements for China, which include holding a bachelor’s degree, a clean criminal background check, and at least three years of teaching experience.
