About the Role
In your role as an educator, you will be accountable for the learning of all students and will be available for parental meetings in accordance with school policies. You will facilitate communication between home and school through meetings and written correspondence while safeguarding the confidentiality of student records. Utilizing data to organize, plan, set objectives, and assess progress throughout the year is vital for creating a safe and structured environment. Collaborating with colleagues to foster a professional and positive learning atmosphere, attending faculty meetings, and engaging in assigned activities are essential responsibilities. You will assign appropriate tasks and homework, supervise lunchtime and playtime activities, and ensure effective behavior management and attendance tracking. Keeping lesson plans updated and detailed for cover situations, supporting the school’s mission and policies, adhering to health and safety regulations, and conducting risk assessments are also necessary. Additionally, you will supervise students in various settings, promote E-safety through workshops, and assist children in resolving friendship issues when needed.
Who we are looking for:
- Proven teaching experience; must be a fully qualified teacher
- Skilled in applying effective instructional strategies for educational purposes
- Flexible, approachable, and cooperative
- Excellent classroom management capabilities and adherence to the school’s disciplinary code
