Position Overview:

We welcome applications from passionate Science educators excited to inspire curiosity and engage with the lively community at Dubai American Academy, with positions available starting in August 2026.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for Middle School Science teachers who are dedicated to nurturing curiosity, inspiring success, and supporting each student’s journey at DAA.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.

Develop and implement innovative teaching methods that foster a passion for Science and enhance critical thinking skills.

•
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

•
Ensure consistent delivery of the curriculum content.

•
Differentiate instruction to meet the varied needs of students.

•
Encourage an inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and exploration.

Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents about student progress.

Successful candidates will possess:

•
A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree in a related field, along with a teaching qualification such as a PGCE/PGDE/teaching license or a Level 5 equivalent specialization in Science.

•
Proven experience teaching Middle School Science, preferably in an American/IB curriculum context.

•
A solid understanding of inquiry-based learning and hands-on Science education.

•
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

•
The ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

•
A commitment to continuously improving their teaching practice and delivering exceptional learning experiences for their students.
