Our programs and services respect the unique Cree Language and Identity of the KTC Nations. Our diverse team provides education for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Job Description:
Reporting to the School Principal, this position entails the planning and execution of classroom instruction that adheres to the standards established by Alberta Education and KTCEA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education from an accredited institution, with previous teaching experience preferred
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Proficiency in Cree is an asset
- Clear understanding of First Nations culture, organizations, and communities
- Capacity to meet Alberta Education’s Teacher Quality Standard
- Familiarity with the curriculum to be taught
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience in land-based education is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective public relations and networking skills
- Outstanding organizational capabilities
- Proficient in Google Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other necessary applications for the role
