ENGAGEMENT AND INTERACTION – SCHOOL AMBASSADOR TO INTERNAL COMMUNITY

  • Build trust and confidence among students, staff, and parents.
  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
  • Develop a cohesive teaching team and create an environment that promotes excellence.
  • Persistently seek ways to improve the quality of student learning.
  • Use the student tracking and monitoring system to encourage student success and enhance professional practices in line with the school's objectives and priorities.
  • Play a pivotal role in planning for school improvement and development, advocating for the educational goals set forth in the school development plan.
  • Ensure that the department or faculty functions efficiently and effectively.
  • Create and implement resources that facilitate high-quality learning experiences for students.
  • Promote the broader aspirations and values of the school community.

PLANNING, PREPARATION AND TEACHING

  • Provide instruction that empowers students to reach their highest potential by:
    • Crafting effective teaching programs that deliver outstanding learning experiences both in and out of the classroom.
    • Applying the arts curriculum developed in collaboration with The Juilliard School.
    • Actively addressing and supporting the individual learning needs of students.
    • Maintaining high standards of behavior and discipline.
    • Successfully integrating homework and additional extracurricular learning opportunities.
    • Establishing a purposeful and safe learning environment.
    • Utilizing modern technology to enhance learning experiences.
    • Accessing the Nord Anglia Education Global Campus online resources.
    • Employing formative and summative assessments to create challenging learning opportunities for all students.
    • Tracking and documenting students' progress to ensure they are on course to meet ambitious goals.
    • Communicating progress to relevant stakeholders.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

  • Enrich the school community beyond the classroom setting.
  • Lead one or more designated after-school activities each week.
  • Participate in residential trips and other excursions as appropriate.
  • Contribute to school-wide learning initiatives throughout the academic term.
  • Engage in and oversee all school productions.

LEADERSHIP

  • Coach, mentor, and support subject teachers to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Establish meaningful accountability for educational outcomes.
