About This Role

We are seeking to hire an exceptional Head of EYFS to join our team in August 2026. The individual in this role will play a key part in upholding the school’s Vision and Mission, while ensuring compliance with all policies, academic standards, and pastoral care within the Primary school.

The Head of EYFS will play a pivotal role in:


Promoting and embodying the ethos and standards of excellence as outlined in the GEMS Core Values.


Maintaining high academic standards in the Early Years setting, aligned with the school’s aspiration for all students to excel, as well as adherence to UAE National Agenda targets.


Developing the school’s aims and objectives.


Creating policies to meet these aims and objectives.


Overseeing staff and resources to achieve these goals.


Tracking progress towards fulfilling the school’s aims and objectives.


Managing budgets and performing teaching and other professional tasks as reasonably assigned by the Principal.


Contributing to the development and execution of the school’s educational strategy.

Qualifications:

A fully qualified teacher, possessing a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent.

A strong passion for delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences.

Extensive experience with the National Curriculum for England.

Proficient in staff development, along with demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
*Estimated range based on regional data averages.
