Role Summary:

King’s College School, Cascais, a distinguished member of the Inspired Education Group, is recognized as a leading international institution situated along the picturesque Portuguese Riviera. Commencing in August 2026, we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior School ICT / Computer Science Teacher to join our committed team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering engaging and challenging ICT and Computer Science lessons, inspiring students to achieve academic success while fostering vital digital and problem-solving competencies for their future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating ICT and Computer Science lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and participation.
• Exhibit professionalism through punctuality, high standards of behavior, and consistent expectations for students.
• Assess, evaluate, and reflect on teaching methods to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to educational initiatives across the school.
• Develop high-quality learning materials and digital resources.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and community activities as required.
• Set, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback on various student assessments.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of School or line manager.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have To:

• Possess experience teaching IGCSE and IBDP or A-Level Computer Science in a UK or international curriculum context.
