About This Role
The Role
The Subject Teacher will directly report to the Head of Department and will play an essential role in promoting the subject across all grade levels within the school. The perfect candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be an enthusiastic, dynamic, and innovative educator who embraces a variety of teaching methods while aligning with the goals of this bilingual institution.
The successful candidate will become part of an expanding team of specialized subject teachers, which is expected to grow significantly as enrollment increases. He/she will be actively involved in the ongoing development of the subject throughout the school.

Qualifications:
•
A high-quality degree focused on the relevant subject as either the primary or sole area of study
•
A recognized teaching qualification
•
At least two years of teaching experience
Requirements:
•
Native-level proficiency in English;
•
A minimum of two years of experience teaching the subject, with the capability to instruct students aged 11-18;
•
Strong communication skills in English with students, colleagues, and parents, including the ability to provide interpretation into Chinese when necessary, fostering strong relationships within the school community;
•
Collaborative working style;
•
Ability to use various teaching resources, including digital tools, to enrich the educational experience;
•
Cultural sensitivity towards the diverse backgrounds present in China and a commitment to maintaining a cross-cultural approach in the workplace;
•
A commitment to contributing to the wider school community and student life beyond regular academic hours, including participation in academic enrichment and co-curricular activities;
•
Experience with A-Level or IGCSE students is a plus.
