Founded in 2017, Majestic International College (MIC) is recognized as a CIS member institution and a respected private high school offering an English-based curriculum. In June 2024, MIC proudly marked the graduation of its fifth cohort of students, underscoring its commitment to academic achievement and compliance with international standards.

Situated within a peaceful green campus in the vibrant region of Southwest China, specifically in Foshan City, Majestic International College (MIC) provides more than just exceptional education. With Guangzhou South Station just two bus stops away, students benefit from easy access to high-speed trains that connect them to numerous locations throughout China. For example, a swift train journey can take them to Hong Kong in less than an hour. The region's subtropical climate enhances the student experience, featuring lush foliage, colorful blooms throughout the year, and a variety of recreational options.

As the only Canadian B.C. offshore school in Guangdong, Majestic B.C. International School (MBCIS) is dedicated to maintaining high academic standards for students in grades 10-12. With over 30 courses across 10 subjects, all taught by B.C. certified educators, MBCIS offers a challenging yet fulfilling academic atmosphere. Basic requirements for candidates

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field (graduate degree preferred).
• Candidates must qualify for British Columbia teacher certification.
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience in Canadian schools, North American curricula, or international schools is preferred.
• A professional teaching approach that aligns with MIC’s mission and values, including a commitment to collaboration, perseverance, and accountability.
• Experience engaging with motivated secondary students is preferred.
• A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to participate in school-based in-service activities.

Employment Benefits for 2-Year Contract Period

C&B Package: Based on the B.C. salary grid and relevant teaching experience with teenagers, the pre-tax annual package ranges from CAD 52,000 to CAD 80,000.

Welfare package:

• Flight Allowance:
  • Option 1: CAD 1,800 per academic year for flight expenses.
  • Option 2: Reimbursement for one round trip (at the beginning and end of the contract) between the home country and China, along with a CAD 1,800 allowance distributed between the first and second years of the contract.
